The Dual Sweeping Combo

It's a pleasure to meet you all. I shall be posting my most successful uber team to date based on a dual sweeping combo. Without further ado, here is the team.


Kyogre @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Thunder
- Water Spout

A fairly standard Kyogre set. Used to put up the rain and a great, great revenge killer. Surf 2/3 HKOS anything that doesn't resist it. Ice beam is great for Dragons such as Giratina/Giratina-O, and Rayquaza. Thunder is used to beat water types and can cripple Palkia on the switch. Water spout is absolutely amazing in rain, 1-Hitting almost everything in the uber tier


Ferrothorn (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Leech Seed
- Thunder Wave
- Power Whip
- Stealth Rock

My Specially Defensive Ferrothorn is next up. Leech Seed is used to stall out so many pokes in the uber tier, Thunder Wave is an amazing move, it can cripple so many pokes in addition to stalling them out with Leech Seed. Power Whip is the attacking option here so Ferro doesn't become Taunt bait. Rocks are there just for setting up.


Cloyster (F) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Skill Link
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Icicle Spear
- Rock Blast
- Ice Shard
- Shell Smash

Cloyster is up next in this team. Icicle Spear is amazing for knocking out many Dragon pokes and is even better after a Shell Smash. Rock Blast is for the Fire/Flying and the rare rock types that can be lurking in the tier. Ice Shard is for knocking out weakened pokes. Shell Smash is a setup for a possible sweep.


Deoxys-A @ Life Orb
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Mild Nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- Thunder
- ExtremeSpeed
- Superpower
- Psycho Boost

Next up, we have my mixed sweeper, Deoxys-A. Thunder is for knocking out many water pokes, Mainly Kyogre and Manaphy. Extremespeed is a priority move for knocking out the weakened pokes and even one hitting them. Superpower is an amazing move for knocking out Dialga and Tyranitar. Psycho Boost is the main STAB move, one hitting a significant amount of the Uber tier.


Dialga @ Expert Belt
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Aura Sphere
- Dragon Pulse

Next up, we have my special sweeper Dialga. Thunderbolt is for all the water typed pokes in the tier. Flamethrower is good for Ferrothorn, and several formes of Arceus and other Grass/Steel typed pokes in the tier. Aura Sphere is a pretty cool move, knocking out the Steel and Rock typed pokes in the tier. Dragon Pulse is solely there for the Dragons.


Arceus @ Lum Berry
Trait: Multitype
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- ExtremeSpeed
- Brick Break
- Shadow Claw

And finally, we have come to the centerpiece of this team. Extremekiller/Lum Berry Arceus. Swords Dance is for setting up for a sweep. Extremespeed is the main STAB as it one hits so many pokes. Brick Break is for the steel and rock types. Shadow Claw is for the Ghost types.
